Untitled 2
FacebookTwitterTumblr

It’s a bit late (the anniversary happened at the end of January), but HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my website dedicated to this most amazing actor whom i love so very much – Michael Fassbender! My fansite was initiated over 6 years ago on MySpace, and it immigrated to Facebook and Tumblr later, up until now – M-Fassbender.net. It has not been an easy ride, bringing all the media and information is always challenging, but it is something i love to do and gives me a possibility to communicate to other amazing Fascinators, as well as support Michael and his amazing films! Thank you all so much for supporting my fansite and keeping checking it out! I also would like to thank my very own, amazing and fabulous hosting network: Flaunt!
With respect,
admin.

Assassin’s Creed Movie Officially Enters Production

Untitled 1

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed movie has officially entered production and should start shooting soon, chief executive officer Yves Guillemot announced Thursday during an earnings call.

The movie, produced by New Regency and 20th Century Fox, will hit theaters on December 21, 2016. That’s one week after the first Star Wars spinoff movie hits cinemas.

“This is a very important milestone for the project,” Guillemot said.

Though the Assassin’s Creed movie is now officially greenlit, we still don’t know much about it outside of the fact that Inglourious Basterds actor Michael Fassbender will play the lead role. The movie will be directed by Justin Kurzel, who directed Fassbender in upcoming movie Macbeth.

Talking about the movie last year, Fassbender said the Assassin’s Creed film will be respectful of the game. At the same time, however, the actor pointed out that “we also want to bring new elements to it and perhaps our own vision of things that already exist in the game.”

Ubisoft has a total of six movies in the pipeline. In addition to Assassin’s Creed, the Paris-based publisher is making movies based on its Far Cry, Rabbids, Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon franchises. In all instances, Ubisoft will retain creative control through its Ubisoft Motion Pictures group. [source]

Michael Fassbender Eyed As Possible Steve Jobs

Untitledf-1

With Christian Bale definitively out of the running to play Steve Jobs for Danny Boyle’s next, untitled film (this week, at least), the role is wide open. And it appears that Boyle already has another choice, with Michael Fassbender in early talks to fill the vacant position.

It’s worth remembering that things are at a very early stage and Fassbender may not even get as far as making a deal for the role, but he’s certainly able to do it even if he doesn’t naturally seem to be a facial fit for the Apple icon. And let’s not forget what his superpowers could do to computers if he gets angry – iPods will be flying everywhere…

Aaron Sorkin wrote the script for the film, working from Walter Isaacson’s bestselling authorised biography of the man. The story focuses on three big moments in Jobs’ corporate life: the launch of the Mac; NeXT (which was introduced after he was removed from the company); and the iPod, launched after his triumphant return.

Seth Rogen has been in discussions to play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, but there’s no sign of how Bale’s exit might shift the dynamics in future while Jessica Chastain last week denied all knowledge of rumours that she was also set for a role. Boyle wants to lock the cast down as soon as possible so as to kick off shooting early next year.[source]

New X-Men viral video with Quicksilver and a hint about Magneto

Peter Maximoff has posted on his Instagram account a new video that features Peter, a.k.a. Quicksilver, playing some kind of trivia game with his friends. While trying to answer the question about the meaning of the word “lodestone”, he uses his super speed to find out online and in a book the answer to the question.
The text with the video says, “Good thing Mom kept all those weird books on magnets,” which is clearly a tease at the idea that Magneto is Peter’s father, as he is in the comics.

X-Men: Days of Future Past comes to Blu-ray and DVD on October 14.

Michael Fassbender covers Details UK for June/July 2014

Untitled 3

“Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy are much more than costars : they’re kindred spirits who run and race – and sometimes rage – together. Their latest onscreen reunion comes in this month’s X-men: Days of Future Past. Offscreen, they met in a North London pub for a drink-up and a few rounds of straight talk on superheroes, Shakespeare, snogging Angelina, and the meaning of their true bromance” – as the intro for the interview states.

It’s a fantastic interview of both James and Michael, which just proves once again the great chemistry of these two fantastic actors both on- and off-screen. Together with the exlusive interview comes a fantastic covers, actually double cove, which I’ve scanned and uploaded on my fansite for you guys, enjoy 😉
